Staff Governor

As the elected staff governor I represent staff across the federation. I enjoy working across both our schools on the senior leadership team as SENCO (Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator), Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead, early reading lead and mental health lead. I have been a teacher and SENCO at Hawkesbury since 2007 and have been SENCO at Iron Acton since 2019. I am passionate that all children are valued as individuals, motivated to learn and that high-quality teaching enriches their experience at our schools. I work closely with parents, children and staff to ensure we are inclusive and welcoming to all. Working across the partnership gives me important insights to support my governing role.

I currently sit on the Standards Committee.
