We moved to the area mid-year and were really impressed with how the school team supported our two children to fit in.

The school’s warm and nurturing atmosphere enables each child to develop confidence in their own individual voice/identity.

Hawkesbury Primary School is federated with nearby Iron Acton Primary School.

Hawkesbury Primary is federated with nearby Iron Acton Primary School and together the schools form ‘The Pinnacle Schools Federation’. A federation is a group of two or more schools that have made a formal commitment to work together under a single governing body. This enables the schools in the federation to:

· work together efficiently and sustainably to raise standards

· improve services and increase opportunities for pupils and staff

· share resources, staff, expertise and facilities.

Several members of staff including our Headteacher work at both schools and we have one shared Governing Body, who work to secure the highest possible standards for all children at both schools.

Our school is part of the Cotswold Alliance Hub which is a group of 7 local schools, which work together to share ideas, plans, policies and strong practice.

The school has strong links with several local secondary schools, particularly KLB in Wotton where many of the children go on for their secondary education.
