Co-opted Governor

I am a semi-retired surveyor and Joined the Board of Governors in 2022. I became a co-opted Governor for The Pinnacle Schools Federation working within the Resources (finance, people and buildings) Committee holding our schools to account for budget spend and performance while ensuring our premises are well maintained and appropriate for high quality learning.

I live in Hawkesbury Upton where my children attended Hawkesbury Primary school before progressing to secondary and higher education. Having moved from suburbia to a village environment I have come to understand and appreciate the supportive and nurturing environment that our schools play, allowing our children to develop life skills and to fulfill their potential.

I am passionate about ensuring that our village schools continue to thrive and flourish within environments that meet our children’s needs.
