Competitions and Tournaments
The children at Hawkesbury CE VC Primary School have many opportunities to take part in competitions and tournaments in a huge range of sports. We work with local primary and secondary schools to organise ways in which the children can compete against other individuals and teams to enjoy the thrill of competition and apply and develop their sporting skills.
We have recently taken part in:
- Cross country tournaments (4 over a number of months against South Gloucestershire and Gloucestershire County schools)
- Football tournament for girls and boys (against small schools in South Gloucestershire)
- Tag rugby tournament
- Cricket festival (schools in the Cotswold cluster)
- Rounders tournament
- District field and track athletics
- football (taught by a football coach)
- Netball Tournaments
